Retreat content

The Farewell Prayer
We look at Jesus’ long prayer for His disciples after they’ve shared their last supper together. It’s filled with promises and goodness not only for them, but for His disciples to come – us! Our prayer exercise helps us to engage personally with Jesus’ prayer.

The Garden of Gethsemane
We explore Jesus’ agony and anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane as He faces the task before Him – dying on the cross as our Saviour. Our prayer exercise involves an act of relinquishing.

On the Cross
While hanging on the cross before He dies, Jesus’ final words include prayers to His Father. Our prayer exercise focuses on the cross and areas of yielding in our own lives.
