Insight into Disappointment

Insight into Disappointment

We all have hopes and dreams for our lives and for those we love, and we can all experience disappointment if these are dashed or remain unfulfilled. As we learn how to recognise the impact shattered dreams have on us, alongside examining our response to disappointment, God can strengthen us to press on and have hope once more.

Key insights in this book include:

  • The causes and effects of disappointment
  • Why God allows us to face loss
  • How we can find new strength and hope in God

Drawing on case studies, as well as personal and professional experiences, Insight into Disappointment offers practical and spiritual help to those who suffer and those who care, as they grapple with the issues involved with disappointment.

The Waverley Abbey Insight Series is based on one-day seminars held by CWR at Waverley Abbey House to give insight into some key issues that many people struggle with today.
