Bringing you deeper biblical understanding
Jeremy Thomson writes on 2 Kings. In telling the sad story of the decline of Israel and Judah into exile, 2 Kings highlights the repeated unfaithfulness towards God of the majority of kings. In contrast, it is clear that true power belongs to God’s word in the mouth of his prophets. This book challenges conventional political assumptions, values ‘ordinary people’, warns church leaders, and encourages prophets.
