Dr Micha Jazz, Director of Resources
Micha has worked with Youth For Christ, the Evangelical Alliance, and Spring Harvest. He broadcasts on Premier Radio and is a professional mediator, communicator and academic. Micha’s ability in enabling people to realise their potential is ideal for leading the development of Waverley Abbey Resources in equipping people to live everyday with Jesus. Micha and his wife also run St. Cuthbert’s Oratory, a house of prayer offering hospitality, hope and healing.
Mick Brooks, Director of Ministry
Mick’s background in general and mental health nursing greatly complements the heart of Waverley Abbey – equipping people to understand themselves and how help others by applying the Bible to daily life. Mick has a unique skillset to lead Waverley Abbey’s ministry and teach on our courses, having studied Theology in the USA and served as Dean of Students at a Jamaican Bible school. He says that any success of the charity is due to God’s continual grace and small daily miracles.
Lynette Brooks, Director of Publishing
Before joining the team Lynette’s worked in nursing and health visiting. Lynette leads the Publishing and Courses aspects of Waverley Abbey’s ministry. She interacts with our authors, tutors, creative services, marketing and sales teams, and also enjoys presenting several of our courses. Leading the Inspiring Women team also takes Lynette on the road to deliver courses around the UK too.
Michele LeTissier, Head of Marketing and Communications
Michele’s range of marketing experience, paired with her passion for the Bible, make her a great leader for Waverley Abbey’s marketing and communications team. She has nearly 20 years of experience in managing marketing teams, leading organisational growth and developing brands. When she’s not networking with Christian media, or raising the profile of Waverley Abbey, she’s motivating her creative marketing team around her.
David Ramsay, Director of Sales and Events
If you’ve seen Waverley Abbey Resources at an event, you’ve probably met David. He travels all over the UK (and the world) for the charity. Having previously worked for Christian Resources Exhibition he has strong links in Christian publishing networks and loves meeting new people at festivals and exhibitions. He passionately believes in Waverley Abbey Resources, regularly receiving stories from customers sharing how the books and products connect them to God and strengthen their faith.
Bob Stradling, College Principal
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant Bob moved into commercial training and from there into the Higher Education sector where he has worked for over twenty five years in a range of institutions and roles helping to provide leadership often in situations where significant change was required.
Jackie Girling, Operations Manager
With a background in teaching, publishing and marketing Jackie is an ideal fit for Waverley Abbey’s ministry. Her passion for hospitality means she is always ready to welcome guests to Waverley Abbey House. She first came to the house for just three weeks – to help out with the Christmas post – yet 16 years later she’s at the heart of our venue, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Amanda Pickering, Executive Assistant to the CEO, Secretary to the Board of Trustees and Company Secretary
